I came here out of admiration. This time, I brought my wife and children along to take photos, visit the exhibition and check in! Before coming here, I specially looked up some materials to popularize the introduction of the exhibits this time. They are the photographic works of Chen Man.
“FLASH:CHEN MAN” is the largest solo photography exhibition held by contemporary fashion photographer and visual artist Chen Man in China. The exhibition features nearly 80 of Chen Man’s most representative photographic works created from 2003 to the present, covering the fashion covers of top stars at home and abroad as well as artistic creations from various fields. With rich and diverse visual language, it revolutionizes the pioneering force of Chinese fashion photography, capturing the mentality of young people in today’s society in the purest way and with the most classic works.
I had only seen Chen Man’s works on various websites and in magazines before. This is the first time I have watched them up close. I feel that her works are not just simple photography; they incorporate a lot of aesthetics. They use bold colors and are good at capturing details, making them thought-provoking!
Finally, I’d like to mention that Xie Zilong’s building has a very distinctive design style. Taking photos here is really beautiful no matter how you try. There are lotus ponds, swans and green grasslands outside. Besides taking photos for check-ins, you can also bring your children here for parent-child activities! There is a coffee shop on the first floor. If you get tired from playing, you can go there for something to eat. Whether you have been to Xie Zilong before or not, you can consider coming again, because there is a Chen Man exhibition here that is worth your visit!
